Oo nga bumalik na si Shatterstar. Is he friend or foe? And what happened to his bad ass swords? He's like a poor man's version of X-23 (who was then touted a poor man's version of Wolverine) |

UY di naman poor man's version si Laura! Gusmastos ang government nila ng million para magawa sya! hehe! I love x-23 - I have followed her story since the very beginning. I like underdogs kasi. Nakakainis nga na BIG STEP backward sa character ni Laura sa X-force. Bumalik sya sa mala-robot na killer. Kawawang bata.
Shatterstar seems to be controlled by whatever the Cortex is. The sword? Ewan, wait tayo baka lalabas sa next issue. Sana di naman tinangal. |

HAHAHAHA!

Nakalimutan na ata si Shatterstar. Wala sya sa Xfactor #44. The issue's still interesting though with Monet acting so out of character - like showing interest on her male teammates and well, wanting to have fun. Hehehe!
Meanwhile, in the future, Jaime and Layla (**kilig**) are doing some detective work with Ruby Summers and Cyborg Cyclops - they're following a lead with some mystery guy that Jaime knows can help. They went looking for the guy at the same hotel where - at the present - Monet and Darwin are holing up for witness protection. And incidentally, Monet is still possessed by the Cortex.
Abangan ang susunod na kabanata! |

Xfactor #45 - Shatterstar! Ay SUS! Me nakaraan pala sila ni Rictor! Sabi nga ni Guido, "I didn't see that coming." Hehe!
Jaime and friends were meeting with Dr Doom - or what's left of him in the future. But even with an addled mind, he was still the foremost expert in time travel - according to the men who control the CORTEX.
Shatterstar almost killed Guido. I forgot how formidable he was as a fighter. But with Cortex's control over him broken, Guido was saved.
Next month, the girls will fight it out. |

X-Factor 50!! SPOILERS......
We finally understand Layla's powers! OK what happened before ... ang haba, ang hirap ikwento but Madrox was pulled into the future by Layla (who's all grown up) and there they Dr. Doom, the Sentinels, and Cortex (a dupe sent by the xmen to the future to look for Layla and he was trapped in a dimension where he spend eons and he evolved with great powers and became evil apparently).
In the present, the gang also fought Cortex since he was sent there to kill an important depowered mutant crucial to the future. Beating the X-factor gang is a plus.
In the future, the mutants defeated the suck-the-mutants-to another-dimension-weapon when Trevor Fitzroy (who is not yet evil but was made evil by Layla - more later) absorbed Cortex's powers and he and the Sentinels were the one's sucked into another dimension instead of the mutants.
So when the smoke clears, Dr. Doom sent Jaime and Layla back in time (the reason we will know in the following issues). Jaime was sent back to the present and to his gang.
Layla .... she was brought to when she was young. She told her young self everything and imprinted her with all of the important information about the future. That is why Layla knows stuff! Her real power was --- to bring the dead back to life - like what with did with Trevor when Ruby asked her to. The catch was - they came back with no soul.
The second story is a prelude to X-factor #200 (renumbered, continuing from the old series) "The Invisible Woman has Vanished!!" Yes, Sue's children can't seem to find her. Hehe. Anyway, X-factor has moved to New York. Jaime decided to move because he thought Terry needed space in Detriot but she decided to close shop and soon after that the gang followed Jaime to NY. Their first case is finding the Invisible Woman.
Valeria and Franklin interacting with Jaime and the gang were so funny!
Franklin: By the way we don;t have any money to pay you
Jaime - Can you sister give me stock tips?
Valeria - Absolutely
They have new costumes (which I don't like), a new case, new digs, but I do hope that Layla's still in the picture.
